You've got to be kidding, the NY Yankees are going to pay this guy $18-$19 million + the Yankees have to pay a luxury tax of $7-8 million just to have this guy pitch for less than a full season. Plus, he gets to go home to Houston when he's not pitching. Nobody is worth that kind of money. According to the Boston Globe sport's department, they claim that they're desparate to compete and win a chamnpionship. But at what cost? It's a huge risk. He's 45 years old, what's left in his arm? I'm so glad that the Sox didn't pick up this overrated SOB. He didn't come to Boston in the first place because he still harbors bad feelings with this organization.
